STEP 3: Complete Pre-consultation (TAO)

Since faculty email addresses are not publicly available, please submit your request for a pre-consultation through The Admissions Office (TAO).

Pre-consultation request is accepted only during the designated periods for each entrance examination.

For more details, please refer to the section "Pre-consultation with Supervisor/Faculty Member."

Even if the pre-consultation is completed, you will not be able to take the examination unless the application is also completed, so please make sure to complete both.

  • Current students at SIT are not required to request a pre-consultation through The Admissions Office (TAO), but they must obtain prior consent to apply directly from the faculty member they wish to study under.

【Notice on TAO Account Registration and Application】

  • Each applicant should have only one TAO account.
  • Please avoid submitting applications in both the Japanese and English versions.
  • If you create multiple accounts or submit more than one application at the same time, your application may not be processed properly.
